We have closed online ordering for delivery for Christmas this year. You can still order for collections up until 14th December by emailing paul@fishgloriousfish.co.uk, and our weekly/regular delivery customers can contact us for remaining availability.

Website ordering will re-open 2nd January, the Shop will be closed from Midday 24th December and re-open on 6th January.

There will be a good selection of smoked salmon, prawns and other goodies in our fridge and freezers while the counter is closed.

Giant ‘Mad’ Prawns

Wild giant prawns from the around Madagascan region, affectionately named “Mad” prawns!

Absolutely delicious, a real treat that will not disappoint – can be boiled, steamed, grilled, oven cooked or BBQ’d depending on your preference.  These are really meaty and have a beautiful, full flavour!

Depending on which grade we can get, these could be £5 – £12 or £11 – £19.  Please give us a call or email to discuss which are currently available.

Description

Prices range from £43 – £52 per kilo (currently at £52/kg) – average prawns can be £6.50 – £9.50 each, but we’ve had them from £4 up to £19+ each!

If you’re unsure on how many to order, please leave a note of how many people you’re feeding and whether you want a starter or main course portion – we’ll do our best to match your needs.

Wherever possible order 2 days in advance.

As with just about all prawns in the UK, these are a defrosted product – they are suitable to freeze after cooking.
