If you are new to Fish Glorious Fish you may have some questions that you need answers to, before placing your order

How do I place my order?

How quickly will I receive my order?

Our current usual delivery days are Thursday and Friday, the day depends on which area you live in (please see ‘Delivery’ page).  We ask that all orders are in by Wednesday evening for us to order the fish required.  While we will try to accommodate late orders, they cannot be guaranteed especially on busier weeks.  Orders made on Friday through Sunday will be delivered the following week.   

What if I am not at home to receive my order?

You do not need to be in to receive your delivery as it will be packaged in an insulated box with ice packs which will keep your items chilled for over 12 hours, all we need is a safe place to leave it for you, either around your property or with a neighbour, please leave instructions on your checkout.

How do I pay for my order?

You will receive an invoice via the email you provided on your account with a link on it to pay securely online.

This will be sent to you on the day of delivery, please pay as soon as practicably possible, if you have an invoice outstanding we will not be able to send out any future orders to you until it is settled.

What do I do if I am not satisfied with my order?

If (on the rare occasion) you are dissatisfied with what you have received please call Rebecca immediately on 07826216793 and talk to her about the issue so she can advise you what to do next.

Please give us the opportunity to resolve issues without negative comments on social media as this can be extremely damaging to our business. Thanks

How do you price your products?

The price you pay each time you order your seafood from Fish glorious Fish is based on the daily updated market price, it will always be competitive and fair, guaranteeing that the seafood you eat will always be the freshest and best quality you can find.

The price you pay for the meat and other items from Vicars Game and Casey Fields Farm Shop are the prices set by the shop itself and will be the same price you would pay if you go into the shop and buy the items yourself.  Our only additional charge is a £5 delivery fee for orders under £70.

How do I store my food?

Your products will have a use by date, providing you put your food in the fridge (or freezer if frozen) it will be good for the dates stated.  Seafood generally has a shelf life of 3 days uncooked and once cooked another 3 days can be added. I will always pick the best quality products for my customers. Unless otherwise stated the fresh fish and meat products you receive are all suitable for home freezing.

How is my order packaged?

Your order will be wrapped and packed in packaging which keeps the freshness of the product at its best for as long as possible particularly while it is being dispatched to you, you will receive your order preserved in a quality equal to as if it were kept in the fridge. The fish will usually be wrapped in freezer ready shrink wrap.

The whole order will be brought in an insulated polystyrene box, if we leave your package in a safe place please keep the box and we will collect it next time we visit you.
